The journal that will be reviewed by me today is entitled The Implementation of Collaborative Learning Model Find Someone Who and Flashcard Game to Enhance Social Studies Learning Motivation for the Fifth Grade Student. The Research method of this Journal is classroom action research. Then for data analysis, this research used qualitative descriptive analysis. The research conducted in East Java with 32 students for the subject. This research only takes one cycle of research. The purpose of this research are to implemented cooperative learning model find someone who and flashcard game so that the student motivation will be increase significantly.
Before the students got the treatment, the students motivation and intention to learn social study is low, students do not have good time management, and students have low motivation to learn collaboratively. Then the result after using Collaborative Learning Model Find Someone Who and Flashcard Game, the students performance are getting better, the motivation of student are increase significantly, it shown from their desire to solve the problem together with their friends and also the score of the student. Actually its little bit difficult to say if this research is valid, because the researcher only used one cycle in their research. Then the quality or the characteristics of student motivation are getting better not really clearly stated by the researcher, score cannot be data relevant for showing if some research is succeed or not.
Although this research has purpose to improve the social study, the method of this research is also able to be implemented in English subject, maybe for improving vocabulary mastery. I think in my future classroom, collaborative method can be implemented as one of method for teaching learning process in order to improve English skill.
